Our dance studio focuses on urban styles of dance, including hip hop and breakdancing. Through our classes, we aim to create an experience that is fun and energising, while building strength and an appreciation for the art of urban expression.



The godfather of hip hop movement elements. Our breakdancing classes are designed for both beginners and intermediate breakdancers. We teach the basic concepts and moves of breakdancing and focus on helping learners express themselves and build confidence in a collaborative and positive environment.


Hip Hop

Our hip hop dance classes bring high energy physical exercise and dance together. This class is meant to give students an introduction into the world of hip hop and introduces the foundational moves for many dance styles.

This modern style of urban dance includes: Popping, Locking, House, Waacking, Dancehall and New School.

Darryl Coetzee
AKA Bboy WarToy

Darryl Coetzee (also known as Bboy WarToy) is a professional Bboy and self-taught acrobat, amongst other various skills, within the extreme sporting fields. He found a passion for breakdancing in 2004 and has since continued to push his talent in the industry, making a living off dancing through performances and teaching his craft to aspiring children and adults from a beginner level right through to industry professionals. Darryl has over the past 3 years become one of the top 10 Bboys in Gauteng and represents the oldest and longest standing Bboy crew in Gauteng, the infamous Demolition Squad. Darryl has appeared and featured on TV around the world on adverts, TV shows, etc. He also performs at SA’s biggest festivals every year such as OppiKoppi and Drama for Life and is one of the head organisers of the now very fast-growing event, Breaking the Ice Amateur Bboy Battles, a platform for new and old dancers to teach, learn and showcase their individual talents with a primary objective to grow the dance industry as a whole.


Emmanuel Thodlana
AKA Eman

Emmanuel Thodlana has been dancing professionally since qualifying for the Hip Hop World Championships in 2006. Trained by Amber Pamp, Ashleigh Moore and Show Dance World champion Nick Dawson, Emmanuel is one of the most successful and hard-working dancers in the industry today. He won the Taming Gravity Hip Hop Champ of Champs in 2008 and was awarded Hip Hop Champ of Champs Dancer of the Year in 2012. He represented South Africa at the Show Dance World Championship in Riesa, Germany in 2010, and performed at the FIFA World Cup in 2010. Emmanuel was Hip Hop Solo World Champion quarter finalist, Battle of the Giants Champ of Champ finalist, and has qualified for Hip Hop Worlds on numerous occasions. As a choreographer, Emmanuel has worked on numerous productions: Reddam House’sA Story, Legends and Divas, Manuela Tribute Show, and Carnaval. He has choreographed for X-pressionist Crew, X-men, Lil X Crew and InfeXious Taboo. More recently, he is the co-founder of Co-eXist Crew along with So You Think You Can Dance finalists Chris van Staden and Carl Davids.
